Starting Your Own Nonprofit/Invention/Campaign/Club: 

There are teenagers out there in the world, that have started their own non-profit, initiative, campaign, or club,  for the betterment of the world, and  themselves. These experiences offer you to have real life experiences with the outside world and to develop real life skills, that will be beneficial to you later on in life.

Global Science Fair: 

This is a science fair, open to all teenagers in the world, just like you, ages 13-18. Read about their experiments, including step by step guides on how they have completed them.

Zach Hunter: Modern Day Slavery Abolitionist/Non-Profit-Loose Change to Loosen Chains 

When Zach was in 7th grade, he was shocked when he had learned in school, that slavery was still happening today. The more he read, the more horrified he was, and he wanted to do something about it. He started a campaign called Loose Change to Loosen Chains, in efforts to end modern day slavery.  In his first year as a 7th grader, he has raised $8,500. In his high school years, he travelled around the country constantly, speaking to school and church groups about human trafficking.

Zahra Vahanvaty: Co-founder, Helping All the World’s Kids (HAWK), Stroudsburg High School —-2009- 2011

This past Stroudsburg High School graduate had started this club, in order to create a school-wide water sanitation campaign, in efforts to give proceeds to UNICEF's Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) initiative.

NSLI: For Youth, Scholarships To Study Abroad

This is a program that is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, providing scholarships for full year programs and summer programs, for non-commonly taught languages, such as Arabic. These are intense, language based programs.
