I am the lone junior on the Newspaper staff. I joined because I wanted to get a feel for a different type of writing than what I’m used to, which is almost always fiction.
I’m involved in other activities such as GSA and Lost Arts Club. I’m also a girl scout and have been one since around second grade. While I’m not much of an athletic person, I do enjoy other things such as reading on my own time and writing my own stories. My book interests and writing topics tend to be on the fantasy/paranormal side. Ever since I was younger I’ve had a lot of interest in ghosts/spirits. This may have started when I discovered The Haunted on Animal Planet and I’ve watched and read about similar things since, branching off into other paranormal and fantasy categories as well. My love for these genres led me to read Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series and more of her works, making her my all-time favorite author.
I also draw, spend a good amount of time on the internet, and listen to a bunch of music. My music taste can be anywhere from My Chemical Romance to All Time Low, to Panic! At the Disco to Melanie Martinez, just to name a few. Also, fun fact: my laugh sounds like a car alarm, seagull, or dolphin.
